For an exciting project, we are looking for an experienced consultant for the development of target business processes in Finance, Controlling, Procurement, and License Management in the context of an S/4HANA migration.

• Start: 10/22/2026
• Duration: until 02/29/2028 + option for extension
• Location: remote
• Utilization: Full-time
• Project language: German

Responsibilities

Special focus is placed on the following topics:

• Conduct a structured analysis of the current situation and develop and document target, solution, and implementation scenarios within the client's IT landscape
• Collect, structure, and qualify the client's technical and business requirements
• Analyze problems and requirements, and develop and document action options, including strategic assessment and recommendation
• Create, evaluate, and document IT strategies, architecture, and solution concepts for digital products and applications
• Provide functional consulting on the development and implementation of IT guidelines and procedures
• Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions (hardware, platforms, and software), considering economic viability, security, and strategic and architectural fit
• Provide functional consulting regarding the assessment of conformity with digitalization and IT strategy, the target IT landscape, architectural specifications, and application scope
• Analyze and document relevant technical, legal, and organizational constraints (e.g., data protection, interfaces)
• Conduct IT governance analyses, such as risk assessments, and define and provide functional consulting on appropriate measures
• Provide functional consulting and documentation of quality according to established standards (e.g., ISO 9001, CMMI) and internal governance requirements
• Consulting and functional support in developing the respective target business processes in Finance & Controlling, Procurement, and License Management
• Handling functional subject areas (e.g., functional topics, risk management, dependency management, or integration issues) for the purpose of content preparation and development.
• Consulting on technical and organizational complexities, as well as functional support for collaboration between IT implementation, business departments, and program management, acting as a structuring and mediating function.
• Consulting and functional support in the structured preparation of content and moderation of coordination processes for all project phases (concept, development, testing, implementation)
