Consultant for Workload Automation

Responsibilities

• Analysis and evaluation of the existing job control and workload automation landscape
• Review and critical assessment of the planned transformation and transition approach
• Consulting on a strategic vendor change of the existing job control solution
• Development or optimization of the process model, target architecture, and transition planning
• Evaluation of project organization, role model, governance, and team setup
• Identification of risks, dependencies, and optimization potential
• Contribution of best practices and experience from comparable transformation projects
• Support in the structural preparation for later migration and operational handover

Requirements

Framework parameters:

• Several years of practical experience in job control / Enterprise Workload Automation
• Demonstrable experience from several transformation, migration, or vendor change projects
• Very good knowledge of at least one relevant platform such as Broadcom Automic/UC4, BMC Control-M, Beta Systems ANOW!, IBM IWA, HCL Workload Automation, or comparable solutions
• Experience in the holistic analysis of complex job control landscapes
• Sound architectural understanding in the enterprise IT environment
• Experience in developing and evaluating transition, governance, and organizational models
• Experience in leading or supporting complex transformation programs
• Combination of technical architecture competence and project/program management experience
• Strong consulting skills and experience in critically questioning existing concepts
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector is an advantage
• Location: Remote
• Duration: asap, prospectively long-term until at least the end of 2027
• Utilization: 2026 probably approx. 2-3 PT/week, from 2027 prospectively full-time
