Consultant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Rollout

Project overview

Availability: fulltime, initially at least 2 months 2-3 days per week on-site in City, otherwise mostly remote

Fee: please state your hourly rate for remote and your all-in rate for on-site

• Support an extensive international rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
• Close collaboration with business departments, key users, and stakeholders on-site at the Stade location
• Analysis, recording, and optimization of existing production and business processes
• Participation in the analysis and tracking of errors, process deviations, and user requests within the D365 F&O modules
• Support in coordinating with business departments for the optimization of existing processes and workflows
• Participation in the recording, documentation, and evaluation of requirements and improvement suggestions
• Building close relationships with business departments and key users to identify requirements and optimization potentials early on
• Support with testing, User Acceptance Tests (UAT), and hypercare activities
• Communication and coordination with national and international stakeholders in German and English
• Close collaboration with international project participants and English-speaking colleagues
• Coordination of business and technical topics with international teams, including those in the USA
• Participation in ensuring stable system operation during the ongoing rollout phase
• Support in implementing planned optimization and bug-fixing measures
• Support in coordinating between D365 F&O and adjacent systems such as Apriso
• Focus on processes in the production environment and their continuous development and optimization

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Several years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
• Experience in international D365 rollout projects
• Profound understanding of business processes within relevant D365 F&O modules, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment
• Experience in error analysis, process optimization, and incident management
• Experience in requirements management as well as documentation of requirements and solutions
• Strong communication skills and experience in direct exchange with business departments, key users, and stakeholders
• Fluent German language skills
• Fluent English language skills at business level, spoken and written (mandatory)
• Willingness for regular on-site presence in Stade, especially during the analysis and onboarding phase

• Experience with Apriso (MES)
• Experience in hypercare phases after ERP implementations
• Experience in production or industrial environments
• Experience in collaborating with international stakeholders and global teams
• Experience with interfaces between D365 F&O and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Residence in Northern Germany or within reachable distance of Stade
