Consultant Purchasing Animation & Transformation Freelance – Mutual Insurance Sector

Project overview

A major player in the mutual insurance sector is looking for a freelance consultant to lead its Purchasing Coordination Unit, reporting to the Finance Department. The mission is for 6 months, renewable.

Important point: this unit is not an operational purchasing unit. Purchasing is handled by the Group. The mission includes neither calls for tender, nor negotiations, nor placing orders. Its role is to act as a link between the business departments and Group purchasing, to monitor compliance with procedures, and to disseminate a purchasing culture internally.

Acculturation and animation:

• Build the roadmap for the main purchasing expenses of the business departments, share it with Group purchasing, and ensure its follow-up.
• Deploy internal indicators to measure compliance with existing purchasing procedures.
• Monitor these indicators, analyze them, and then propose and manage corrective actions.
• Disseminate purchasing culture among the teams: communication plan, lead webinars on the steps of the purchasing process, workshops.
• Design communication and acculturation materials (Klaxoon, quizzes, guides, practical sheets, etc.).
• Maintain and improve the unit's SharePoint space (content, ergonomics, updates).
