Job description
Experienced project manager sought for a data migration project within a larger ERP program, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for the migration track, including planning, design, execution, and validation.
Project overview
For a private client, we are looking for an experienced project manager to lead the data migration in a larger ERP program. The consultant will have overall responsibility for the migration track and will be involved all the way from planning and design to practical execution. The track covers all the program's target systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
You will define and maintain the migration strategy, establish the scope and migration objects for each implementation, and ensure that data is tested, validated, and approved by the business before go-live. The work is done iteratively with a mock migration in each monthly sprint, and the entire ETL process for master and transaction data must be repeatable with the same result and documented so that the audit can follow it. The consultant will coordinate closely with master data, testing, integration, cutover, and the business, and keep track of risks, decisions, and dependencies along the way.
As data ownership lies with the business, the client is looking for someone who can lead the process and simultaneously engage the data owners.
