Job description
The Province of Groningen is seeking a Content Editor & Online Communications Advisor to create engaging content, enhance online visibility, and advise on communication strategies. This role supports the online team during a period of high demand.
Project overview
Strong communication makes societal ambitions visible. You ensure that the story of the Province of Groningen is not only told but also truly resonates.
The Position
As a Content Editor & Online Communications Advisor at the Province of Groningen, you combine creativity with online strategy. You translate complex topics into engaging content, strengthen online visibility, and advise on communication that reaches the right target audiences. How do you make provincial policy understandable, relevant, and interesting for residents? How do you ensure that online communication not only informs but also connects and creates engagement? That is your challenge.
As a Content Editor & Online Communications Advisor, you are the creative and strategic force behind the online communication of the Province of Groningen. You know exactly how to translate a message to the right channel, the right target audience, and the right tone of voice.
You will strengthen the online team during a period when a major tender and the temporary absence of a colleague require extra capacity. You will be given the space to take initiative, propose creative ideas, and independently bear responsibility for daily online communication. You will switch effortlessly between writing compelling texts, managing digital channels, and advising colleagues. This way, you ensure that the online communication of the Province of Groningen remains aligned with what residents and other target audiences are concerned about.
