Seeking a process director to manage the implementation and embedding of the Species Management Plan (SMP) within a municipal organization. The role involves guiding permit applications, translating SMP consequences into workable municipal processes, and developing communication strategies.

As a process director, you will take charge of the implementation and embedding of the Species Management Plan (SMP):
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Guiding the permit application and coordinating with the province, environmental agency, and experts
- Translating the consequences of the SMP into workable municipal processes, protocols, and work instructions
- Applying the SMP in sustainability, renovation, demolition, and new construction
- Developing and organizing a communication strategy for residents, housing corporations, developers, and contractors
- Organizing knowledge transfer and ensuring structural embedding of the SMP within the organization
- Establishing a clear structure for questions, signals, and bottlenecks
- Organizing monitoring, registration, and reporting to the province and environmental agency
- Advising management and executive board on choices, risks, costs, and bottlenecks
- Identifying bottlenecks and opportunities and working on continuous improvement
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a role as process director, program manager, project leader, or similar role within a municipal organization
- Minimum 2 years of experience with the introduction, execution, or anchoring of policy, programs, or change processes in the area of the physical living environment
- Experience with coordinating collaboration between various internal and external parties, such as municipalities, provinces, environmental agencies, consultancy firms, housing corporations, developers, and contractors
- Completed HBO bachelor's degree, for example in Ecology, Spatial Planning, Area Development, or Construction Management (desired)
- Work experience with Species Management Plan (SMP) within a municipality (desired)
- Experience with monitoring, registering, reporting, and tracking project progress (desired)
- Work experience with advising management, executive board, and/or executive on risks and decision-making (desired)
