Cryptographic Software Engineer – HSM & Key Management

Project overview

We are looking for experienced software engineers specializing in cryptography, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and Key Management for future-oriented projects in security technology.

Your tasks include developing software for cryptographic services, HSM integrations, and key management platforms. You will build and maintain interfaces that connect security products with customer applications, and implement secure key generation, storage, rotation, and access control. Furthermore, you will improve the reliability, performance, and interoperability of cryptographic components, develop automated tests, and investigate complex software and integration issues.

Requirements

Additional experience in Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), FIPS 140-3 validation, Cloud KMS, and side-channel countermeasures is advantageous. You will contribute to crypto-agility and PQC integration as product requirements continue to evolve.

• Extensive production experience in C, C++, or Rust
• Practical understanding of encryption, digital signatures, hashing, and key management
• Experience with HSM development, cryptographic libraries, or key management services
• Familiarity with standards such as PKCS#11, KMIP, OpenSSL, or Java Cryptography APIs
• Strong skills in debugging, testing, and secure software development
• Experience with Linux and software integration in various environments
