Experienced freelance Cutover Manager needed for a finance transformation project involving the replacement of SAP FI with Oracle. The role involves planning, managing, and executing the entire cutover process from concept to go-live.
Project overview
For an ongoing finance transformation project, we are looking for an experienced Cutover Manager as a freelancer. The focus is on replacing the existing SAP FI landscape with Oracle. You will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of the entire cutover, from the initial concept to successful go-live.
Responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of the cutover concept and detailed cutover plan
- Management and coordination of all cutover activities between business departments, SAP and Oracle teams, and external service providers
- Coordination of data migration (master and transactional data from SAP FI) with those responsible for migration
- Planning and support of mock cutovers and dress rehearsals
- Definition of go/no-go criteria and preparation of decision-making bodies
- Risk and dependency management as well as escalation of critical issues
- Reporting to project management and steering committee
- Support of go-live and the hypercare phase
Requirements
Must-Haves
- Demonstrable project experience as a Cutover Manager in finance migration or ERP transformation projects
- Sound knowledge of SAP FI and the finance environment
- Experience in managing complex go-lives with multiple stakeholders
