Cyber Security Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our team at the Vienna location. In this role, you will significantly contribute to the security of innovative projects and work in a hybrid work model.

Your tasks include the comprehensive analysis of cybersecurity requirements and the development of technical security concepts for complex systems. You will conduct risk and threat analyses, define appropriate security measures, and create security architectures for systems, subsystems, and external partners. Furthermore, you will plan and coordinate penetration tests, evaluate them, and validate security solutions. An important aspect of your work is ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and managing vulnerability management.

For this position, you should have a completed degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or a comparable field. You have practical experience in IT/OT security within product development or in an industrial environment. Sound knowledge of system and network architectures as well as technologies such as firewalls, VPN, and PKI is required. Experience with threat modeling, risk assessment, and cybersecurity risk management completes your profile.

Knowledge of relevant security standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27000, NIS2, or CRA is advantageous. Very good German and English skills are necessary for this international role.
