Cyber Security Engineer - SIEM & Information Security

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our security team. You will play a central role in the further development and operation of our security infrastructure.

In the role of Security Monitoring & SIEM, you will build, operate, and continuously optimize a central monitoring system. You will analyze security-relevant events and alerts, develop detection rules for early detection of security incidents, and specifically reduce false alarms. You will also create dashboards and reports, and support the analysis of security incidents in incident response.

In the area of information security, you will work closely with the Information Security Officer. You will support the further development of the Information Security Management System, participate in risk analyses and audits, and create security policies and documentation. A focus will be on implementing regulatory requirements, particularly ISO 27001 and NIS2.

In Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Management, you will manage vulnerability management and coordinate penetration tests. You will conduct security tests, especially for web, mobile, and cloud applications, and develop measures to remediate identified security vulnerabilities.

You have a completed Master's degree in Computer Science or IT Security and possess sound professional experience in Security Monitoring and SIEM. Practical experience with relevant systems, good Linux and network knowledge, and familiarity with ISO 27001 are required. Penetration testing experience and an analytical, solution-oriented approach complete your profile. Fluent German language skills are necessary.
