Project overview
Cyber Security Engineer - SOAR, SIEM, Rapid 7, Cloud- 6 months, Hybrid/Leeds to £540 per day inside IR35
A Cyber Security Engineer/Analyst is required to work on a large cyber security programme dealing with security detection, integration and automation.
You will have extensive IT Security/SOC/Network Security experience with good knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, and EDR technologies, SOAR automation (playbooks, integrations, workflows), Rapid7 tools (InsightIDR, InsightConnect, or similar), Incident response & detection, engineering, Active Directory & Windows security detections, Cloud security (AWS, GCP, or OCI), DLP monitoring and alerting, Vulnerability management & exposure scanning, Security frameworks (ISO 27001, CIS, NIST, PCI DSS). You will have worked with 3rd parties and have strong communication skills.
The role will involve working as part of a team being involved in implementing, improving security detection, dealing with the build, deployment, automation and integration. The role will be remote but will initially require 2 days on site for the first few weeks and then reducing to 1 day.

6 months initially with extensions - 2 year programme
