Job description
The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for detecting, analyzing, and handling security incidents from level 1 to 3, primarily using the Splunk solution.
Project overview
The cybersecurity engineer will participate in the detection, analysis, and handling of security incidents, from level 1 to 3, relying in particular on the Splunk solution.
As such, their main missions will be:
- Ensure monitoring and analysis of security events from Splunk.
- Qualify, analyze, and handle security alerts, from first to third level, according to their complexity.
- Identify suspicious behaviors, anomalies, and potential threats affecting the information system.
- Carry out initial technical investigations and contribute to identifying the causes of incidents.
- Participate in the management of cybersecurity incidents: diagnosis, remediation, monitoring, and escalation to the relevant teams.
- Utilize data and security logs in Splunk to improve threat detection.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of detection rules, dashboards, and security use cases in Splunk.
- Document encountered incidents, analyses performed, and corrective actions implemented.
- Occasionally contribute to complementary security actions, notably vulnerability tests and first-level pentest operations.
