Data Analyst BI (m/f) – Luxury – Paris 8e / Neuilly – Long-term mission

Project overview

An international luxury house is creating its new "Analytics & AI Factory" within its Digital Europe team, and is looking for a Data Analyst BI consultant for a long-term mission (minimum 2 years), dedicated to the ESG / sustainability scope.

You will join a BI squad, with a Product Manager, BI Analysts, and Data Engineers, and you will work directly with CSR and business teams.

The current BI offering suffers from significant debt: over 1,300 Power BI pages and 200 dashboards, often connected directly to the ERP and store tills. ESG indicators, such as carbon consumption tracking, are among the reports to be redone.

• rationalize and make ESG reporting reliable, and harmonize indicators (carbon, environmental, social);
• design and evolve ESG steering Power BI dashboards for business teams and management;
• ensure the quality, traceability, and monitoring of ESG data;
• participate in the migration to a European analytics platform on Microsoft Fabric, organized in a Data Mesh;
• structure BI best practices and governance, train users, and develop self-service.
• At least 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, including a minimum of 3 years on ESG, CSR, or sustainability topics, ideally in luxury or retail.
• Excellent command of Power BI and SQL.
• Good understanding of ESG indicators and non-financial reporting challenges (carbon footprint, CSRD…).
• A truly business-oriented profile: you know how to gather and challenge needs, and you can explain data to non-technical stakeholders.
• An aptitude for data storytelling and dashboard UX/UI.
• Fluent French and English, both written and spoken.
• Will be appreciated: Git, experience in an Agile environment (Scrum), and a product mindset.
• BI: Power BI (DAX, Power Query, modeling).
• Data: SQL, Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP, ESG data (carbon, consumption…).
• Target platform: Microsoft Fabric, Data Mesh datalake.
• Methods: product squad organization, Agile (Scrum), Git.
• Languages: French and English daily.
