A subsidiary of a large French banking group is seeking an experienced Data Analyst / Finance MOA to support the transformation of Finance, Accounting, and Management Control processes, focusing on data automation and reporting.
Project overview
As part of the acceleration of its Data & AI strategy, a subsidiary of a large French banking group is centralizing its data in the group's Data Lake and building a common data foundation, including a datamart dedicated to financial data.
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Finance MOA to support the transformation of Finance, Accounting, and Management Control processes. You will work closely with the financial department and the Data Department.
Your missions:
Profile sought
Experienced Data Analyst or Finance BI consultant (minimum 6 years of experience), you have a dual finance and technical background.
Work environment
Technical environment: Big Data (Hadoop / HDP), group Data Lake, SQL, Python / PySpark, Dataiku DSS, Qlik Sense; R / RShiny appreciated.
Interlocutors: financial department (accounting, management control) and Data Department.
Mission based in Paris 15th, remote work possible with department approval.
- Automate and secure the monthly closing process
- Design, validate, and industrialize Finance data processing
- Design Finance datamarts directly usable by business units
- Implement pre-calculated indicators for performance management
- Analyze and explain variances between actuals, budget, and previous year
- Perform reconciliations between accounting and management control, and monitor suspense accounts
- Design reports and a steering tool under Qlik Sense
- Produce robust, documented, and usage-oriented solutions
- Very good command of management accounting and management control (budget, forecast, closing)
- You handle data in depth yourself (advanced SQL) and automate processes (Python / PySpark, Dataiku)
- Experience in building reports under Qlik Sense
- Ease in communication with finance teams and management, rigor, and sense of data reliability
- Experience in banking or insurance is a plus
