About the Opportunity

Insight Global is seeking a SQL Data Analyst to support operational data and reporting initiatives within a large-scale environment. This individual will manage datasets from multiple systems, build and maintain SQL-driven reporting processes, and ensure data accuracy across business-critical workflows. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on SQL Server experience and is comfortable working directly with raw data rather than primarily consuming prepared datasets for visualization.

Strong Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) experience

Experience building and modifying stored procedures, tables, views, and other SQL database objects

Strong understanding of data integrity, validation, quality, and normalization

Experience developing SQL-driven operational and recurring reports

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Strong data reconciliation experience across large datasets and multiple systems

Experience identifying and researching discrepancies between source systems

Mortgage servicing, collateral, custodial, or loan-level data experience

Position Overview

As a SQL Data Analyst, you will manage operational datasets across multiple systems while building and maintaining SQL tables, stored procedures, reporting processes, and centralized data repositories. Responsibilities include writing complex SQL queries, reconciling data across source systems, investigating discrepancies, improving data quality, and developing recurring operational reports.

You will also support audit readiness, troubleshoot data issues, identify inefficient data workflows, and ensure underlying information can be accurately validated. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working directly with SQL and large datasets, solving complex data discrepancies, and improving operational reporting processes.
