Data Engineer (2x)

Project overview

As a Data Engineer, you will work within the Business Intelligence Team of BZ on the further development of the data warehouse on the Databricks platform.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing and optimizing data pipelines for information products on the Databricks platform
• Advising and coordinating with data analysts, infra engineers, visualizers, and data scientists on information planning and strategy
• Collaborating with BI consultants and data users to integrate and make necessary data usable
• Ensuring the deployment of workloads to development and production environments via devops pipelines
• Following recent developments in tools, techniques, and architecture for data development and management
• Setting up automated loading and processing processes
• Ensuring compliance and data governance requirements in the technical solutions
• Combining technological knowledge and concepts into innovative solutions
• Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level
• Knowledge of networks, especially in combination with Databricks and Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of current insights regarding the setup and security of Azure resources such as Databricks
• Experience with CI/CD methodology and Azure DevOps
• Experience with Azure tools such as Data Factory for streaming and batch processing
• Familiarity with enterprise data warehouse and BI-oriented architectures
• Experience with Powershell
• Knowledge of financial and/or HR processes, preferably within the Central Government
• Experience in supplier management and SAP architecture
• Knowledge of data management and governance
• Good command of the Dutch language
