Project overview
Data Engineer - Azure Databricks, DBT - 3 months, hybrid/Birmingham, to £700 p/d inside IR35
A Data Engineer is required to work on a large financial treasury system. You will have extensive data engineering experience, ideally gained within a large enterprise finance/financial services/finance system environment and have worked on a cloud-based data lake, with good knowledge of data modelling, SQL, Python, Azure data bricks, DBT, Kimball, Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile. You will have worked through the full software development lifecycle to deployment, release and testing. You will have excellent stakeholder management, communication skills.
The role will involve working on a treasury system, working as part of a team, dealing with the development, dimensional, data modelling through the full lifecycle to testing completion. The role will require 3 days on site.
