Data Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer specialized in Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran to work with one of our clients, an international software publisher, as part of the development, optimization, and maintenance of its data architectures and pipelines.

You will be involved in data design, transformation, and integration projects within a demanding technical environment, with challenges related to data performance, quality, and reliability.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with solid expertise in the design, development, and optimization of Data solutions, particularly around Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran.

You master data modeling concepts, Data Warehouse architectures, and data integration and transformation processes.

You are capable of intervening throughout the data processing cycle, from ingestion to transformation, storage, and availability.

You have a good understanding of performance, governance, and data quality challenges.

Autonomous, rigorous, and with good analytical skills, you know how to operate in complex technical environments and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

The ability to work in an international environment and communicate in English would be appreciated.

• Design, develop, and maintain performant and scalable data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize data storage and processing solutions on Snowflake.
• Implement and maintain data transformations with dbt.
• Develop and manage data ingestion flows with Fivetran.
• Design and optimize data models and database structures.
• Develop advanced SQL queries and optimize their performance.
• Participate in the design and evolution of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
• Implement and improve ETL / ELT processes.
• Participate in the orchestration of data workflows, particularly with Airflow.
• Contribute to the implementation of data governance, security, and quality best practices.
• Participate in real-time data integration and processing.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure data availability, consistency, and reliability.
• Solid expertise in Snowflake, particularly in development and optimization.
• Mastery of dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Good command of Fivetran for data integration and ingestion.
• Advanced skills in SQL and query optimization.
• Proven experience in data modeling and database design.
• Solid knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures.
• Good command of ETL / ELT practices.
• Knowledge of Airflow for data pipeline orchestration.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and quality challenges.
• Knowledge of real-time data processing architectures and mechanisms.
• Snowflake Developer certification sought.
• dbt Developer certification sought.
• Mastery of Fivetran and its functionalities expected.
• A good level of English is an asset in this international environment.
