Data Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer for a long-term mission of 6 months renewable in Nantes.

Strong DevOps sensitivity (in Nantes, 2 days / week on client site), capable of intervening in both RUN activities and occasionally reinforcing the BUILD activities of our applications.

The missions are as follows:

Our technical environment relies mainly on Databricks, Azure, Spark and Scala, with issues related to orchestration and operation of Data pipelines.

Therefore, we are not looking for pure infrastructure DevOps profiles, but rather experienced, autonomous Data Engineers who are comfortable with production, automation, and operation issues of Data platforms.

This organization must allow us to pool skills, gain flexibility in resource allocation, and strengthen continuity between BUILD and RUN.

• RUN and technical support: analysis and resolution of production incidents, diagnosis of anomalies on Data treatments and jobs, management of recurring problems.
• DevOps and automation: improvement of deployment processes, industrialization of production releases, automation of operational tasks and reliability of treatments.
• Supervision and alerting: implementation and improvement of supervision and alerting mechanisms directly in Data jobs and pipelines, to facilitate anomaly detection and diagnosis.
• Maintenance in operational conditions: management of technical changes, securing environments, management of application secrets and improvement of operational documentation.
• BUILD reinforcement: ability to intervene occasionally on Data Engineering developments, in support of project teams, particularly during peak loads or to secure certain deliveries.
