Salary: 6000-7200 SEK / MD (2400-2880 PLN/MD) on B2B

Work model: Hybrid (3 days/week from the office in Malmö, Sweden). During the first 3 months, commuting is possible, but relocation to Sweden will be required afterwards.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a team responsible for building modern data solutions used across the organization. In this role, you will work with large-scale data processing technologies, contribute to backend services enabling data access, and help drive technical improvements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will have a high level of ownership and the opportunity to influence both technical decisions and the future direction of the platform.

Responsibilities you'll have

Expected competences and knowledge

• Opportunity to work on globally used web and developer platforms
• Direct impact on frontend architecture, APIs, and developer-facing solutions
• Collaboration with international, cross-functional engineering and product teams
• Work on large-scale mapping and location-based technologies used worldwide
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Spark and Flink
• Design, develop and improve data solutions utilized across multiple teams
• Provide technical guidance and support on data engineering topics
• Develop scalable backend APIs that enable efficient access to data
• Contribute to architectural improvements and technical initiatives
• Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts and stakeholders
• Ensure high performance, reliability and scalability of data solutions
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities
• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong Python skills
• Strong Java or Scala programming skills
• Solid backend development experience
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work on-site at the client's office in Malmö 3 days per week
