Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our client's Data & Analytics operations. As a consultant, you will play a key role in enabling the organization's data-driven work by building robust, scalable, and high-quality data flows. You will work with modern platforms and technologies in an environment where data volumes are large and complex, and where well-functioning pipelines are crucial for analysis and decision support.

In the role, you will develop and maintain pipelines for collecting, storing, and processing data, as well as ensure good performance, data quality, and availability for analysts and the business. You will also work with advanced data modeling and data transformation for reporting and further analysis. The role involves significant personal responsibility, where you drive best practices in code structure, data modeling, and documentation.

You will collaborate closely with the business, other development teams, source system owners, and data and information architects. To succeed in the role, you need to thrive on taking responsibility, working independently, and contributing to a professional and sustainable data architecture.

• Very good experience with Jinja, SQL, and dbt.
• Very good experience with Terraform.
• Experience with GCP, especially BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Cloud Run Services, Cloud Run Jobs, and Cloud Build.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD.
• Experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling, for example, according to the Kimball method.
• Experience with optimization of BigQuery and data pipelines.
• Fluent English in speech and writing.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with platform administration, for example, IAM.
• Experience with AI-assisted development with tools like Copilot or Claude.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
