Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric & Power BI, 5-6 Full-time Assignments Starting Now, Central Stockholm

We are looking for a Data Engineer with experience in Microsoft's Data & Analytics platform. You have good knowledge of SQL Database/Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric (notebooks and pipelines), Power BI, DAX, and Python/PySpark. Experience with version control in Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar is a requirement. Experience with Power BI Paginated Reports is a plus. As a person, you are responsible, communicative, goal-oriented, efficient, and meticulous. You thrive both in a team and working independently, taking responsibility for driving tasks to completion with high quality.

You have experience planning work and leading other developers, as we have two Data Engineers outside of Sweden.

Work tasks

Develop and maintain data warehouses and data platform solutions.

Design, develop, and optimize ETL and data pipelines.

Work with Microsoft Fabric, including notebooks and pipelines.

Develop data models and reports in Power BI.

Write and optimize SQL queries and database scripts.

Ensure good quality, performance, and documentation in data flows and solutions.

Participate in the entire development process from requirements gathering to delivery and management.

Work according to established methods for version control, CI/CD, and collaboration in development teams.

We are looking for you who have experience with

Mandatory competencies

Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, or SQL Data Warehouse/Synapse

Microsoft Fabric (including Lakehouse, Notebooks, Data Pipelines)

Power BI (data modeling, report development)

DAX

Python and/or PySpark

Version control in Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent

Meritorious competencies

Power BI Paginated Reports

Orchestration of data flows in Azure Data Factory

Experience with data warehouse development and dimensional modeling

Experience with CI/CD processes within Microsoft's data and analytics platform

Experience working in cloud-based data platforms
