Data Engineer - Snowflake vacancy for our Zurich based client in the Banking sector.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines from finance applications and source systems into Snowflake.
• Further develop finance data marts and underlying data models.
• Integrate new finance data sources using scalable ETL/ELT and data integration patterns.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and availability across finance data flows.
• Analyse and resolve data integration issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support automation, deployment, CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL for data engineering and pipeline development.
• Solid experience in data modelling and data warehousing, ideally including Data Vault concepts.
• Hands-on Python experience for data processing, integration and automation.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and modern data integration patterns.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices in a data engineering environment.
• Language skills: English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Structured and solution-oriented working style.
