Data Project Manager in Orleans

Almatek is looking for a Data Project Manager in Orleans for one of its clients.

Job Description

The contractor will report to the head of the Data Modeling department.

DataPlatform Migration Program

The program aims to migrate the current business intelligence information system to a DataPlatform SaaS.

The contractor's role will be to lead and manage the five workstreams that make up this program.

The project team consists of:

a Product Owner responsible for migrating ETL pipelines and reports (COGNOS and Power BI);

Tech Leads;

Analysts and developers.

Responsibilities

Lead the project in the following areas:

Organization: planning, committee management, budget monitoring, testing monitoring, and change management;

Coordination and Relations: manage the project team (workload planning, progress tracking), coordinate with the publisher (sales, legal, and technical teams), IT teams (architects, network, CIO, etc.), business units, and the CISO;

Contractual: establish the run contract with the supplier;

Budget: manage licenses, services, and man-day costs;

Risks: manage risks related to planning and budget.

The mission requires great rigor and excellent organizational skills.

Profile Sought

Minimum 8 years of experience in Data-oriented project management;

Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum);

High rigor in tracking project actions;

Proficiency in Jira (backlog, User Stories, etc.), Confluence, and office tools;

Proficiency in client/supplier relationship management within a fixed-price contract framework;

Good knowledge of Cloud infrastructures, Data environments, and Power BI;

A knowledge of the banking sector is desirable.

Practical Information

Start Date: end of November / beginning of December 2026;

Project details

3 months renewable, potentially until Q1 2028;

Remote Work: mandatory presence on site 3 days per week, after an initial period of full-time on-site presence and depending on the degree of autonomy.
