Job description
The role involves overseeing compliance with GDPR and the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act (Wpg) within the ANVS, acting as a Data Protection Officer.
Project overview
The assignment includes overseeing compliance with GDPR and the Wpg within the ANVS:
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Daily supervision of data processing and compliance with GDPR and Wpg
- Supervising and advising on privacy audits and DPIAs
- Advising the ANVS and its board on compliance with GDPR and Wpg
- Drafting annual supervision plans
- Maintaining contact with the Dutch Data Protection Authority and acting as a point of contact
- CIPP/E certification
- Completed university education in privacy law, information security, or public administration
- Knowledge of privacy legislation, such as GDPR and Wpg, and of information security
- Minimum of 4 years of experience at an independent supervisory authority
- 5 years of experience in creating and testing DPIAs
- In-depth knowledge of GDPR/UAVG and Wpg, gained through 5 years of experience
- 5 years of experience in auditing and monitoring, such as internal controls and privacy audits
- 5 years of experience with data breach management, including reporting to the AP
- CIPM or DPO certification is a plus
- Affinity with IT is recommended
