Develop and migrate accounting data processing applications from Data Stage to Python or Java for a public financial institution.
Project overview
Context
Large public financial institution, IT department, detailed accounting team (approx. 9 people, Île-de-France). The team is responsible for an application for managing detailed accounting entries: collection of entries and management data, monthly account-management reconciliations. This application is built on Data Stage. The IT department wishes to migrate to Python or Java, with an ambition to finish by mid-2027. The team lacks resources on this subject: the reinforcement would allow to accelerate the exit from Data Stage.

Working Conditions
- Understand the existing Data Stage (jobs, flows, collection and reconciliation rules).
- Rewrite and migrate the processes to Python or Java as part of the decommissioning.
- Ensure the equivalence of results with the existing system, in conjunction with accounting business analysts.
- Work in an agile team with the PO, BAs, and accounting experts.
