Data Steward (Quality Management)

Project overview

We are currently looking for a Data Steward (Quality Management) for our client, starting as soon as possible.

As part of a re-platforming project, the existing SAP IS-U will be replaced, and data will be migrated to a new system landscape with TAP based on SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and other peripheral systems. The focus is particularly on cleaning, analyzing, and sustainably ensuring the quality of customer master and billing data.

Responsibilities

• Recording and clarifying questions from the re-platforming and data migration project
• Analyzing and improving the data quality of customer master data, e.g., addresses, email addresses, customer group assignments, and missing data
• Checking and ensuring the quality of billing and pricing data, e.g., prices, contract durations, and price guarantees
• Performing data analyses in SAP IS-U and via SAP BW Analysis
• Identifying causes of incorrect data and coordinating suitable solutions with the business department and IT
• Coordinating and managing ongoing data cleaning and data quality measures
• Specifying and partially independently carrying out data cleaning via mass runs, robotics, or manual processing
• Understanding the robotics processes used and correctly filling in the required templates
• Coordinating root cause analyses and ensuring alignment between involved stakeholders
• Collaborating with IT, customer service, billing, market communication, receivables management, and other service partners
• Defining suitable measures for permanent data quality

Requirements

Framework Conditions:

• Experience as a Data Steward, ideally in data quality management
• Experience with data cleaning and data migration
• Good IT knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing processes
• Experience with SAP, ideally SAP IS-U
• Knowledge of data analysis via SAP QuickViewer and SAP tables; comparable experience from other SAP ERP systems is also sufficient
• Experience with SAP BW Analysis
• Understanding of automated data cleaning or robotics/RPA processes
• Ideally, knowledge of Salesforce
• Confident use of Jira
• Analytical and structured way of working, as well as strong coordination skills
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken

Until 12/31/2026, with an option to extend by at least 3 months

Utilization: approx. 2 days per week
