Datacenter Architect

Project overview

Hello,

We are looking for an Architect for the automation of a Datacenter for a long-term mission located in Puteaux (2 days of remote work possible) starting on October 1, 2026.

As part of the New Core DC automation lot project on VxLAN network service, it is requested to study the implementation of VxLAN network automation operated through the Nexus Dashboard equipment API and to carry out its deployment.

MANDATORY: The candidate must be able to present at least one concrete project for the automation of a Cisco Datacenter network, with: API → Python/Ansible → Git → deployment → tests → rollback → supervision/logs.

VxLAN and the Nexus Dashboard API, Ansible, GitLab On-Prem, GUI development, and Python scripts are the core skills sought.

The service provider must notably develop scripts with the client's Ansible team, set up a source of truth in GitLab On-Prem, and then present the data via a GUI intended for the network teams.

To successfully complete this mission, the client wishes to specify the level of expertise required in the following areas:

The various activities are described below:

Detailed architecture DATD and specifications: Description of all interfaces and tools used, detailed diagrams, and provision of access and sources

Test strategy: Writing the test strategy to be carried out to ensure the proper functioning of the solution components and the end-to-end solution

Necessary configuration and developments: Implementation of necessary configurations and developments

Equipment unit tests: Hardware tests and test acceptance reports

Integrated tests of the new solution: Functional tests of the solution and solution test acceptance reports

Operating procedures and manuals: Writing operating procedures and manuals concerning the new solution

Start date: 01/10/2026 and end date: 31/05/2027 at the latest

• Technical expertise expected:
• Knowledge of VxLAN Datacenter network and Nexus Dashboard API highly appreciated
• Good writing skills
• Know-how regarding the implementation of end-to-end functional solutions (including Ansible, Git Lab On prem tools, interactive graphical interface development, Python script development or other languages)
• Significant experience in the development of end-to-end functional solutions
• Knowledge in managing automated deployments and status feedback (status, logs, rollback…)
• Rigor, autonomy, analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Responsiveness and priority management
• Expected service:
• Develop and assist in the development of scripts with the client's technical Ansible team (Ansible, Python preferably) for interfacing with the equipment API.
• Deploy a source of truth from the existing GitLab onprem to centralize, manage, and version the network configuration.
• Translate and present this information in a readable and usable format via an interactive graphical interface (GUI) intended for network teams.
