We are looking for a Security Expert/Administrator specializing in DDoS protection to join our teams based in Toulouse. Combined with a consulting profile in governance, policies, controls, and security risks (Level 3), your role will be highly strategic and operational: you will lead the deployment, optimization, and administration of DDoS protection solutions (Radware, cloud services) to protect our clients' critical infrastructures against volumetric and application cyberattacks.

You will join a leading security engineering and governance hub, responsible for the resilience and protection of a major financial group's critical infrastructures. Working directly with Network Security teams, cloud partners, and risk management bodies, you will operate within an ecosystem where high availability is an absolute business imperative. This is the ideal work setting to leverage your expertise in Radware technologies, deploy international-scale mitigation strategies, and manage end-to-end cyber governance.

Your Key Missions

Operational Expertise & DDoS Mitigation (RUN N3 Mode):

Governance, Control & Risk Management (Consulting Aspect):

• Define and implement policies and strategies for DDoS attack protection through the deployment and operation of Radware solutions (DefensePro, Cloud DDoS Protection Service…).
• Analyze detected DDoS alerts and attacks in real-time to configure surgical countermeasures and adapted settings, in close coordination with Network Security teams.
• Administer, manage, and optimize Cloud DDoS protection infrastructures (management of scrubbing centers, volumetric mitigation, application protection) in conjunction with external suppliers and partners.
• Define, structure, and manage the overall DDoS incident management process (full lifecycle: detection, qualification, escalation, mitigation, return to normal, post-mortem reports).
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance indicators (KPIs) for detection and mitigation using log centralization solutions (Splunk or equivalent).
• Establish, enrich, and maintain technical architecture documents, flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Define Information System Security (ISS) and data protection policies, and proactively manage the ISS roadmap and the entity's annual security plan.
• Identify, model, and evaluate cyber risks from a Business perspective (impact analysis, risk control measures, and remediation plans).
• Develop the permanent control framework and perform Level 2 controls within your scope.
• Contribute to or lead security reviews, penetration testing campaigns, and actively participate in IT audits based on normative frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC2).
• Lead the ISS function, design and deliver training, communication, and awareness actions for employees.

• Education: Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) specializing in cybersecurity, information system security, networks, or critical infrastructures.
• Experience: You have successful and significant experience in network security, with a strong specialization in availability and denial-of-service countermeasure issues.
• Imperative Technical Expertise:
• Advanced level in DDoS protection architectures and mechanisms (imperative Radware solutions: DefensePro, Cloud components).
• Solid skills in network engineering (routing protocols, packet analysis, TCP/UDP flows, BGP routing, DNS).
• Automation Skills (More Appreciated):
• Junior level/Notions of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) to automate and version security configuration updates.
• Methodology & Governance:
• Mastery of risk analysis concepts (EBIOS RM or equivalent) and familiarity with audit standards (ISO, PCI-DSS).
• Languages: Imperative professional English (regular exchanges with scrubbing centers and international editors).
• Stress Management and Reactivity: Absolute ability to remain calm and act methodically during critical DDoS attacks in production.
• Consulting and Leadership Postures: Excellent interpersonal skills to raise awareness among business units, lead the ISS function, and collaborate with technical management.
• Analytical and Synthesis Skills: Ability to audit complex architectures, detect flow vulnerabilities, and write clear post-mortems.
