Deal Execution PMO / M&A Transaction Manager

Project overview

For the professional support of an ongoing sell-side M&A transaction, we are looking for an experienced consultant in the area of Deal Execution PMO / M&A Project Management.

The focus is on the structured support of the transaction between signing and closing. The goal is to ensure transparency, traceability, and timely execution of all transaction-relevant activities across the various workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of an integrated transaction plan including milestones, dependencies, and critical path
• Support of the Deal Execution PMO in coordination, progress tracking, and reporting of individual deal streams
• Consolidation and documentation of risks, open points, decisions, and dependencies
• Creation and maintenance of closing checklists and tracking of implementation status
• Documentation of conditions, approvals, and other closing-relevant matters
• Creation of management reports, status reports, and decision documents
• Preparation of complex transaction-relevant information for management, investors, and stakeholders
• Structured documentation of transaction progress until successful closing

Requirements

Environment

• Several years of experience in M&A, transaction, or PMI environment
• Experience in Deal Execution PMO or in managing complex transactions
• Very good knowledge of project management and stakeholder management
• Experience in creating management presentations and decision templates
• Structured and analytical way of working
• Very good German and English skills
• Sell-side M&A transaction
• Period between signing and closing
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams from Finance, Legal, Tax, HR, IT, and Operations
