About our client

We are looking for our client, a national leader in refrigeration and air conditioning engineering, a Debt Collection Officer (M/F) as part of a temporary mission in Pau.

• Management and steering of reminders: conduct telephone and written reminders, send duplicates and proof of intervention, up to the constitution of contentious files if necessary.
• Negotiation & customer relations: analyze the situation of debtors, negotiate payments with firmness and diplomacy, and de-escalate commercial disputes.
• Customer risk monitoring: monitor outstanding amounts, track daily payments, conduct financial investigations for account openings, and adjust credit lines.
• Administrative management and reporting: ensure the reconciliation and allocation of payments, manage invoice returns, and establish specific reporting for strategic accounts.
• Training in management, accounting, or commercial negotiation, ideally with initial experience in debt collection or B2B customer relations within a company.
• Your major assets: listening skills, tenacity, diplomacy, and a strong sense of customer service.
• Analytical rigor, ease with numbers and IT tools (ERP / management software).
