Job description
Join a 100% cloud-based web platform as a Defensive Security Engineer. You will be responsible for building detection and incident response processes, managing alerts, and leading investigations.
Project overview
Context
Web platform, 100% cloud, with high exposure to fraud and external attacks. The company is internalizing its cyber defense capability. Become the technical reference for defense, reporting to the CISO. You will work with an external Level 1 SOC.
Your mission
Conditions
- Technically build detection and incident response processes: tooling, configuration, automation.
- Manage alerts and confirmations, and take over from the L1 SOC for levels 2 and 3.
- Lead incidents and investigations (DFIR) from start to finish.
- Process fraud and bypass signals, and initiate takedown requests for malicious or fraudulent sites.
- Develop detections adapted to the platform's architecture (SIEM, EDR, cloud tools).
- Code automations (Python, Terraform, Git, CI/CD).
- Start ASAP, 6-month freelance mission, with possible permanent position (CDI).
- 3 days on-site per week.
- 2-step process: an exchange with the recruiter, then an interview with an engineer from the team.
