To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Deputy Shift Manager for our RDF processing plant in Ennigerloh as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Support and deputize for the shift manager, including taking shift responsibility
• Coordination, technical guidance, and scheduling of employees within the shift
• Operation, monitoring, and ensuring the trouble-free operation of the RDF processing plant
• Identification and coordination of plant malfunctions and support with maintenance, cleaning, and repair work
• Monitoring of material flows and the quality of the generated substitute fuel
• Coordination with the control room, maintenance, and other involved departments
• Documentation of important incidents and ensuring proper shift handover
• Compliance with and implementation of regulations on occupational safety, fire protection, and environmental protection

Requirements

• Completed technical, craft, or comparable vocational training
• Technical understanding and practical experience, ideally in a waste management, recycling, or production company
• Experience with processing plants, conveying, or shredding technology is an advantage
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
• Responsible, reliable, and independent way of working
• Teamwork skills, assertiveness, and the ability to guide employees and coordinate workflows
• Calm and composed action in case of plant malfunctions
