Designer SolidWorks

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced designer with a focus on SolidWorks for our mold and plant engineering team. In this role, you will develop and implement customer-specific technical solutions from concept to completion.

Your tasks include the design and detailing of technical components using SolidWorks, the creation of technical drawings, parts lists, and project documentation. You will advise customers throughout the entire project, review technical inquiries, and prepare quotations. Furthermore, you will support sales with customer presentations and negotiations with technical expertise.

Close collaboration with the production, purchasing, and sales departments is essential for successful project execution. You will use common product development methods, particularly CAD modeling and FMEA analysis.

For this position, you should have a technical education or a degree in mechanical engineering or design. You have good SolidWorks and CAD skills as well as proficient MS Office skills. Experience in mold or plant engineering is an advantage. Knowledge of quotation preparation and calculation is desirable. Very good German and good English are required.

The position is hybrid and offers flexibility in work arrangements. The location is in Rhineland-Palatinate.
