Experienced developer needed for a strategic project to build a new low-code funding platform using PEGA and SAP Social Service Management. The role focuses on integrating existing systems via REST and Kafka interfaces.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for an experienced developer for automation processes with a focus on integrating existing systems and developing interfaces within a new funding platform. As part of a major strategic project, a modern, low-code-based funding platform will be built on PEGA and SAP Social Service Management, which will enable the configurable provision of over 100 different funding services in the future.
We are seeking a developer with sound experience in integrating existing systems via REST and Kafka interfaces, who can implement architectural specifications, ensure technical quality, and develop sustainable, maintainable, and reusable solutions. The requirements are based on the skill profile for Developer Automation Processes.
Responsibilities
Integration of existing business applications via REST and Kafka interfaces
Development and implementation of technical integration solutions based on the funding platform
Implementation and configuration of automation modules
Ensuring compliance with architectural specifications
Quality assurance of developed solutions
Error analysis and troubleshooting
Investigation of requirements regarding feasibility, impact, and complexity
Creation of technical concepts and documentation
Support with testing activities and acceptance
Ensuring maintainability, configurability, and reusability of the solution
Participation in an agile project environment
Must-have Skills
Minimum 3 years of experience with platform architectures
Minimum 3 years of experience in development with the low-code platform PEGA
Experience in PEGA configuration and PEGA development
Minimum 3 years of experience with REST interfaces
Minimum 3 years of experience with Apache Kafka
Minimum 3 years of experience with DevSecOps
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and PEGA Deployment Manager
Experience in integrating existing systems and interface integration
Experience in quality assurance and architecture compliance
Demonstrable knowledge of maintainability, configurability, and reusability of applications
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 9126 regarding software quality
Agile methodologies
JIRA / Confluence
Java/JEE knowledge
Low-code/No-code technologies
Workflow and automation solutions
Documentation of technical solutions
Nice-to-have Skills
