Developer/DevOps – TypeScript, API Design, GitLab, RabbitMQ

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Developer/DevOps for a full-time project (220 days, including 22 days on-site) with a start date of 01.01.2027 to 31.12.2027. The position is possible remotely and on-site in Berlin.

Responsibilities

You will develop and implement technical components of an application with a focus on frontend development. Your main tasks include programming frontend components with TypeScript, Vue, and React, implementing new features, and optimizing existing functions. You will work on REST interfaces, review OpenAPI specifications, and participate in real-time interfaces. Furthermore, you will create and maintain automated tests, conduct code reviews, and fix bugs from testing phases. In the DevOps model, you will support 24/7 operations through monitoring and logging.

You will document technical components, create system documentation, and prepare delivery packages with release notes, which you will provide via GitLab pipelines.

Requirements

You bring at least 3 years of experience in frontend development with TypeScript frameworks in productive projects. Also required are 3 years of experience in API design (REST, OpenAPI), automated deployment with GitLab pipelines, and message-based architectures. Knowledge of automated tests (unit, integration, or end-to-end tests) is necessary. German is required.

This position is aimed at subject matter experts who want to solve complex technical challenges and work with a modern tech stack.
