Job description
We are looking for an experienced developer to design and implement control and automation solutions for energy facilities, focusing on highly available PLC and network architectures for critical infrastructure.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced developer to design and implement control and automation solutions for energy facilities. In this role, you will develop and further develop highly available PLC and network architectures to reliably support critical infrastructures.
Your tasks include the design of redundant control architectures, the implementation of communication interfaces based on modern industry standards, and the integration of automation and IT systems. You will realize data connections, analyze system availability, and identify optimization potential.
For this position, you bring several years of practical experience in PLC and automation technology. You have sound knowledge of redundant control architectures, including PLC, I/O systems, and failover concepts. Your expertise extends to industrial communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profinet, Profibus, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, and DNP3.
Experience in the field of critical infrastructures, energy supply, or control systems is essential. You have practical experience with CoDeSys-based controllers (e.g., Beckhoff, WAGO, Bosch Rexroth) or B&R. A solid understanding of IT/OT architectures and industrial networks completes your profile.
This project position offers the opportunity to contribute to future-oriented solutions for the energy industry and to bring your expertise to an demanding environment.
