Development and Operation of a Monitoring Platform

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced specialist for the development and operation of a central monitoring and observability platform. The location is Berlin, the working method is hybrid.

Responsibilities

You will analyze and structure business, technical, and security-related requirements and design highly available and geo-redundant monitoring architectures. You will plan and execute migrations of existing monitoring solutions and integrate monitoring, database, infrastructure, and ITSM systems into a comprehensive platform solution. You will develop and operate monitoring, reporting, and alerting solutions with dashboarding, data storage, and long-term analyses.

Furthermore, you will create automation, deployment, and operational processes according to Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code principles. You will design high availability, failover, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery concepts, taking into account information security and compliance requirements. Finally, you will carry out tests, commissioning, and quality measures and create technical documentation.

Requirements

You have several years of practical experience with modern monitoring and observability solutions in productive enterprise environments. You have sound knowledge in building highly available and geo-redundant architectures, as well as expertise in automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD environments. You are proficient in the Linux environment, network and integration architectures, and have practical experience with security requirements. Knowledge of Python, Bash, and APIs complete your profile. Proof of successfully implemented projects is required.
