DevOps Engineer

Project overview

For our client, a renowned bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and conceptually strong personality as a DevOps Engineer.

Please note that due to current Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization, development, and enhancement of automation and self-service solutions in the area of identity and access management
• Setup and optimization of modern authentication and authorization concepts for cloud and enterprise applications
• Definition and implementation of security and governance requirements in the identity and access management environment
• Development and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for efficient management of cloud platforms
• Integration and enhancement of Single-Sign-On solutions as well as connection of business applications
• Ensuring a high level of security through continuous monitoring, analysis, and optimization of platform configurations
• Participation in the expansion and further development of a modern cloud platform with a focus on automation and security
• Creation of technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders and engineering teams

Requirements

Soft Skills

• Several years of practical experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Platform Engineer
• Very good knowledge in the area of Microsoft Azure and cloud platforms
• Sound experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks
• Experience with modern DevOps methods and CI/CD pipelines
• Good knowledge in the areas of Identity & Access Management and Cloud Security
• Experience with authentication and authorization concepts in modern IT landscapes
• Knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Go, Python, or Bash
• Experience in agile project environments according to Scrum, SAFe, or comparable methods
• Analytical mindset as well as structured and independent working style
• High quality orientation, sense of responsibility, and strong understanding of security
• Team-oriented personality with high communication skills
• Customer and service-oriented thinking
• Proactive and solution-oriented working style
