Job Description

Task Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of our agile platform team, ensuring a stable, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our cloud platform.

• You will develop and operate our Kubernetes clusters on AWS (EKS) to provide development teams with a reliable, self-service-capable platform.
• You will take responsibility for the platform – from infrastructure and observability to security.
• You will automate infrastructure and deployments.
• You will build and further develop observability stacks – using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and CloudWatch.
• You will work closely with the Developer Experience team to optimize the developer journey and create golden paths for our development teams.
• You will continuously improve our platform in terms of performance, security, scalability, and developer experience.
• You will document your work transparently and understandably.
• You will participate in on-call duty and ensure that our platform runs reliably outside of regular working hours.

Requirements

About the Client

• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes and experience operating production clusters.
• Very good knowledge of AWS, especially EC2, VPCs, IAM, EKS, S3, and Lambda.
• Knowledge in the area of Multicloud.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong service orientation and an understanding of self-service, developer experience, and internal quality.
• Experience in automating processes.
