For a project in the area of cloud infrastructure and DevOps, experienced freelance support is sought as a Senior DevOps Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will take over the technical support, optimization, and documentation of Azure environments, as well as the coordination of solutions within agile work processes.

Responsibilities
What you bring:
Framework conditions:
- Management and coordination of tickets (e.g., in Azure DevOps)
- Documentation of processes and technical issues (Confluence)
- Incident handling and troubleshooting in Azure environments
- Administrative tasks such as certificate management and reporting
- Research on Azure topics and development of solution approaches
- Coordination and implementation of technical solutions
- Administration of Databricks (permissions etc.)
- Several years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer in the Azure environment
- Very good knowledge of cloud infrastructure & architecture (Azure Services, Networks, Storage, Compute)
- Experience in automation & scripting (PowerShell, Bash; Python an advantage)
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, YAML Pipelines)
- Experience with Monitoring & Observability (Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, KQL)
- Experience in agile working environments (Scrum/Kanban)
- Structured, solution-oriented approach and high technical communication skills
- Experience with Containers & Kubernetes (AKS) an advantage
- Knowledge of Data Platform / Integration Services desirable
- Location: 1 day/week on-site in Vienna
