DevOps Engineer CI/CD Pipelines

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to set up, configure, and further develop a modularized CI/CD pipeline. You will be working on a full-time project with predominantly remote work (101 days remote, 4 days onsite).

Your main tasks will include the implementation and maintenance of a CI/CD pipeline with automated security checks in the cloud environment, the development of automation scripts and tools, and ensuring compliance with internal and group-wide specifications. You will work on the innovative further development of existing pipeline solutions, implement governance requirements, and identify and evaluate IT security and architectural requirements through workshops. A particular focus is on state-of-the-art tools, high plugin support, and AI use cases.

Desirable:

The project runs from 01/04/2027 to 06/30/2027. German is required. Freelancers will not be considered.

• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with CI/CD pipelines
• Sound knowledge of GitLab and GitLab-CI (3+ years)
• Cloud-native development with AWS (3+ years)
• Proven experience with MCP servers and agent-based AI
• Python skills for automating operational and deployment processes
• Linux expertise
• Experience in the mobility or transport industry
• Agile working experience (Scrum/SAFe)
