Experienced DevOps Engineer needed to modernize and automate build and deployment infrastructure, focusing on Red Hat Satellite and CI/CD pipelines.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to modernize and automate our build and deployment infrastructure. In this project, you will work on the introduction and implementation of Red Hat Satellite and the further development of existing CI/CD pipelines.
Your tasks include the support and modernization of CI/CD pipelines, including a possible migration to modern platforms. You will automate the existing build infrastructure and migrate statically installed build nodes to container-based solutions with Docker or Podman. The goal is to reduce manual effort and fully automate build processes.
Furthermore, you will implement automation solutions and conduct automated software tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software development.
We expect sound experience with Red Hat Satellite and CI/CD pipelines, as well as knowledge in central infrastructure and package management. Experience with automation solutions, release management processes, and automated software tests is required. Python-based test automation (e.g., pytest) should be part of your profile.
You are solution-oriented, can act independently, and have good German and English language skills. The project runs for a period of 6 months and starts in November 2026.
