DevOps Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for our location in Nuremberg. In this role, you will actively shape the future of our software development with modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

You will design, implement, and continuously develop CI/CD pipelines for software teams working with various technology stacks. You will support development teams in troubleshooting in the build, deployment, and infrastructure areas and accompany the introduction of containerization and orchestration. Furthermore, you will drive DevSecOps practices, including artifact management, software supply chain security, and vulnerability management.

Requirements

You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable field – alternatively, an IT apprenticeship with relevant professional experience. You have several years of experience in a DevOps, DevSecOps, or CI/CD environment and are familiar with modern software development and deployment processes. Practical experience with common CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab is required. You are proficient in Linux systems and have programming or scripting skills (Python, Bash).

Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, as well as an understanding of DevSecOps principles, are essential. You work in a structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented manner, even in complex technical environments. Teamwork and strong communication skills characterize you. Fluent German and English skills (at least B2+) are a prerequisite.
