Job description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work within a Scrum team on the further development of critical systems for the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. You will be involved in designing and maintaining back-end services, managing integrations, and contributing to CI/CD processes.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work within a Scrum team on the further development of critical systems for the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Design and maintain back-end services with Java and Spring Boot
- Realize and manage integrations via REST, XML, JSON, and gRPC
- Contribute to CI/CD processes with GitLab and Nexus to shorten delivery times
- Advise on technical architecture and resolve complex incidents within a distributed system
- Strengthen and professionalize the Scrum practice within the team
- Manage connections with other systems and partners in the chain
- Promote transparency, improvement, and collaboration within the Agile Release Train according to SAFe principles
- Demonstrable work experience of at least 3 years as a DevOps engineer, developer, or in a similar role
- eCF3 Senior Professional/Manager competency level
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with the chosen eCF profile
- Availability of at least 38 hours per week
- Dutch passport
- Mastery of the Dutch language
- VGB security investigation at level A is required
- Experience within the Ministry of Defence is a plus
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus
- Experience with Spring Boot, XML integrations, and CI/CD (GitLab & Nexus) is a plus
