*Cloud DevOps Engineer - Contract til end of 2026 + possible extension - Remote (EU)*
On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has a short-term contract opportunity for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a Landing Zone Migration project. The initial contract will be til end of year, with possible extension.
This contract is to start ASAP and will be fully remote.
About role:
You will be responsible for designing, migrating and operationalising enterprise Azure Landing Zones, ensuring cloud environments are secure, scalable and compliant. The role includes building infrastructure using Terraform, designing Azure networking and identity/RBAC, implementing security controls, developing CI/CD pipelines, setting up monitoring and observability, supporting cost optimisation, and working closely with security, networking and development teams throughout the cloud migration.

- 4+ years Azure Cloud Infrastructure experience
- Strong Terraform experience
- Strong Azure Landing Zone design and migration experience
- Experience with Azure management groups, subscriptions & policies
- Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID
- Experience with RBAC, managed identity, conditional access & PIM
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for cloud
- Azure Networking including Hub-and-Spoke / Virtual WAN experience
- Experience with Cloud security (zero trust, network segmentation, encryption & key management)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (using Azure DevOps, GitHub actions or similar)
- Experience scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell
- Experience with Git workflows and branching strategies
- Strong English communication and technical documentation skills
