Seeking a DevOps Engineer to further develop a modern cloud-native platform based on Kubernetes and GitOps for an enterprise and public sector client.
Project overview
For a client in the enterprise and public sector environment, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to further develop a modern cloud-native platform based on Kubernetes and GitOps.
Responsibilities
- Setup and operation of CI/CD and GitOps processes for automated deployments.
- Administration and troubleshooting of Linux-based platforms.
- Containerization of applications with Docker/OCI and operation in Kubernetes environments.
- Automation of infrastructure with Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Integration of security scans and quality checks into delivery processes.
- Implementation and further development of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Support for development teams in establishing modern DevOps and cloud-native practices.
Requirements
- Experience with Git and common branching strategies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
- Linux knowledge in administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with container technologies (Docker/OCI).
- Practical experience in operating and scaling Kubernetes environments.
- Knowledge of GitOps approaches with ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OpenTofu).
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
