DevOps Engineer – Microsoft Azure & Entra ID

Project overview

For an established company in the financial industry, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to strengthen the cloud team. You will drive the setup and optimization of a Microsoft Azure platform, with a particular focus on Microsoft Entra ID and automation solutions.

Your main tasks include the development and implementation of automation solutions for Microsoft Entra ID using Terraform and Go APIs. You will configure and optimize App Registrations, Enterprise Applications, and Conditional Access policies. Another focus is on the development and maintenance of authentication and authorization flows with OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect for Single Sign-On and other applications.

You will develop conceptual specifications for authentication flows, create and continuously optimize security rules, including automated tests and monitoring. You will also manage Azure and Microsoft 365 services in the area of identity management and support the integration of new Azure services. Technical documentation and training of internal teams are also part of your responsibilities.

We expect several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure and in-depth knowledge of Azure core services. You should be an expert in Microsoft Entra ID and have practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like GitLab, Go, Python, or Bash is required. A solid understanding of network security, IAM standards, and cloud security technologies is assumed.

Completed IT education at a university of applied sciences/university level, analytical thinking, and a high level of security awareness are necessary. Experience with agile methods and Microsoft 365 are advantageous.
