Job description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of an agile platform team, ensuring the stable, scalable, and secure infrastructure of the cloud platform. You will develop and operate Kubernetes clusters on AWS (EKS) to provide developers with a reliable, self-service platform.
Project overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of our agile platform team and ensure a stable, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our cloud platform.
Profile Requirements
In our view, this makes you the perfect DevOps Engineer:
Framework Conditions:
- You develop and operate our Kubernetes clusters on AWS (EKS) – with the goal of providing development teams with a reliable, self-service-capable platform.
- You take responsibility for the platform – from infrastructure and observability to security.
- You automate infrastructure and deployments.
- You build and expand observability stacks – with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and CloudWatch.
- You work closely with our Developer Experience team to optimize the developer journey and create golden paths for our development teams.
- You continuously improve our platform – in terms of performance, security, scalability, and developer experience.
- You document your work transparently and understandably.
- You participate in on-call duty and ensure that our platform runs reliably even outside regular working hours.
- You don't just know Kubernetes from theory, but have managed production clusters.
- You don't just know EC2 from AWS – VPCs, IAM, EKS, S3, and Lambda are more than just terms to you.
- You are not afraid if we talk about Multicloud tomorrow.
- You have experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code.
- You live service: Self-service, developer experience, and internal quality are important to you.
- You love automating processes and keeping systems stable.
- You enjoy working in a team, share your knowledge, and have a laugh at work.
- You are willing to take responsibility – including on-call duty.
